Domestic Violence

We can help.

Domestic violence doesn't need to be physical; it can also include emotional abuse, sexual abuse and psychological abuse. Don't forget that it also includes threats to carry out abuse or commit violence.

If you are the victim of domestic violence, or think that you are in danger, we can apply to the Court for an Order to either remove the person from the property and surroundings (Occupation Order) or to forbid the person from the behaviour that you're complaining about (Non-Molestation Order).

In case of an emergency

If you are in immediate danger, we can apply to the Court for one of these orders on an emergency basis. This means that the other person is not notified of the Court hearing. (This is sometimes called an "ex Parte Hearing").

Many people who have suffered from domestic violence are eligible for Legal Aid.

Please request a call back for immediate assistance or if you have any questions.
